Relief

Yep, Winter finally has chosen to pay us a visit. Driest one on record since 1879 I believe, but the tides have turned and now the white stuff is starting to stack up outside. Can’t wait for some sustained storm activity to fill in the terrain that I’ve been employing the use of my mountain bike on over the last few months. Now, its time to shift gears and focus on not shifting gears, but rather popping climbing bails, slapping on skins, and honing those beacon search skills. If you’re like me you’ve been biding your time, enacting every last ounce of patience, trying to make do with the absence of pow turns. It’s tough, but now we’re being rewarded. Be safe this next week and keep your ass in check when you’re out there. It’s a late start and hopefully will turn into another late season like last year, so don’t go and break yourself off within these next few days, sacrificing all that you’ve worked yourself up towards.

And while my focus is in the middle of honing in on skin tracks rather than tire treads, I’ve got my sights set on THIS HUMDINGER for this upcoming Fall. It’s gonna be the hardest thing I’ve ever done on two wheels. Who’s in?
